Back to Normal… Well, Almost!
After last week’s Greensomes, which tested friendships, patience and occasionally the very foundations of the Rules of Golf, this week sees a welcome return to the standard Seniors Roll-Up.
No more watching helplessly as your partner sends your carefully positioned ball somewhere into the Hampshire countryside. No more apologising for shots you didn’t hit. Just 18 holes of good old-fashioned golf, where you can take full responsibility for your own disasters.
Normal service has resumed.
But before you settle into the comfortable routine of blaming the weather, the greens or your putter, there are two rather splendid events demanding your attention.
Digital Divots Winter League – Let Battle Commence!
The summer league is done, the bragging rights have been distributed and it’s time to find out who can actually play golf when the temperature drops below double figures.
Teams of three, a winter of friendly rivalry and plenty of opportunities to discover that your supposedly reliable teammate peaked sometime in August.

How it works: There are no extra rounds to play. Your qualifying Thursday Roll-Up Stableford scores count towards your team. Each player must record at least three qualifying scores.
Ghosts & Ghoulies – Tuesday 3 November
Our annual autumn golfing extravaganza with the Ladies is creeping up on us, and there are still plenty of places available.
It’s a morning of golf, laughter, coffee and cakes for charity, with fancy dress very much encouraged.
Expect witches, ghosts, skeletons and possibly a few familiar faces looking considerably better than they normally do on a Tuesday morning.
The first tee time is 9.32am, so there’s no excuse for not being suitably terrifying before breakfast.
