A Frightfully Good Day at the Lakes!

Something wicked this way comes… and for once, it isn’t your tee shot on the first.
The Seniors and Ladies are joining forces for Ghosts & Ghoulies, a Halloween-inspired golfing extravaganza featuring golf, coffee, cakes, charity and, quite possibly, some truly horrifying scorecards.
Our fearless leaders, Matt and Julie, have agreed to bring the two sections together for a morning of friendly competition, good company and the sort of golf that would frighten even the most hardened ghost.
And there’s one more thing. Fancy dress is positively encouraged! Nothing too elaborate required, but a little Halloween imagination wouldn’t go amiss. Ghosts, ghouls, vampires and other creatures of the night are all welcome. Frankly, we’ve seen some outfits on a normal Thursday that are considerably more frightening.
A Few Things That Go Bump in the Bunker
Expect a bit of Halloween spirit, some friendly rivalry between the Seniors and Ladies, and plenty of opportunities to demonstrate that the supernatural is alive and well at Boundary Lakes.
Balls will mysteriously disappear. Putts will defy the laws of physics. And that perfectly struck approach shot will somehow find the only bunker within fifty yards.
Nothing unusual there, then.
Golf, Coffee, Cakes and a Good Cause
Of course, there is a rather more important reason to venture out of your crypt.
For a £5 cash entry fee, alongside the golf, we’ll be enjoying coffee and cakes in support of charity, proving that even the most frightening golfer can possess a generous heart.
It’s a chance to enjoy a different sort of golfing morning, share a few laughs with the Ladies and support a worthwhile cause. And, for those whose golf is particularly terrifying, there’s always the consolation of cake.
