Following a poll of the Seniors, we’ve now confirmed the details: our 2026 getaway will take place at East Sussex National on the 8th and 9th of June. The package includes two rounds of golf, overnight accommodation, dinner, bed, and breakfast, all for £224. For those who wish to add an extra night (7 June) we have some availability at an additional cost of £100 based on two sharing.

The Golf
East Sussex National began in the mid-1980s when Canadian entrepreneur Brian Turner acquired the Little Horsted Estate with a bold vision: to establish one of Europe’s premier golf resorts. To bring this vision to life, esteemed American architect Robert “Bob” Cupp—renowned for collaborating with Jack Nicklaus—designed both the championship East and West Courses, as well as a three‑hole academy course, all constructed to USGA standards for superior drainage and immaculate putting surfaces.
When the resort opened around 1990, its dramatic stadium-style East Course and scenic, tree-framed West Course quickly earned acclaim. The East Course hosted the European Open in consecutive years (1993–1994), while the West hosted multiple European Tour Qualifying Schools (1994–1997) and five Challenge Tour events. Since then, the club has consistently attracted elite competitions, including Open qualifying events and a televised PGA EuroPro Tour in 2016, drawing top players such as Vijay Singh, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and Ryder Cup captain Ian Woosnam.
Today, the East Course stretches just over 7,000 yards and offers a tournament-calibre challenge with water hazards, bunkers, and open fairways, while the 7,154‑yard West Course winds through ancient oaks alongside tranquil lakes and streams. With 36 distinct holes and a luxury clubhouse, academy, and spa, East Sussex National continues to deliver a memorable, championship-level golf experience.
