Remember, Remember… It’s Roll-Up November!

With Bonfire Night just around the corner, there’s a familiar smell of fireworks in the air, and hopefully a few explosive performances to look forward to on the golf course. Although, judging by some of our recent rounds, the odd rocket has already been launched well beyond the fairway.

This week it’s back to a standard Roll-Up, but there’s a little extra excitement as we light the fuse on the Digital Divots Winter League.

This week marks the first round of the Winter League, so if you haven’t entered yet, this really is your last chance to get involved. Just let Matt know and he’ll make sure you’re included.

No team? No worries! Matt will happily find you some teammates. Whether that’s a carefully assembled winning combination or three golfers who happen to be standing nearby remains to be seen.

A reminder of all the teams and players will be sent out with Tuesday’s tee times, so everyone will know exactly who they’re relying on for the next few months.

And remember, it’s a long winter competition. One bad round won’t ruin your chances, although three months of them might require a fairly spectacular comeback.

So polish those clubs, wrap up warm and prepare for a little November golf. Guy Fawkes might have had plans to blow up Parliament, but we’d settle for someone blowing the competition away.
