After all the excitement of the Senior Club Championship, it’s back to slightly more familiar territory this week with the Roll Up and Round 9 of the Eclectic.
But before we move on, congratulations once again to Sean McCann, our 2026 Senior Golfer of the Year, and to Glen Filer, our Nett Champion. Two excellent performances and very worthy winners.
With the Championship now safely decided, attention turns to the other important business of the season — particularly for anyone still convinced there’s a late charge lurking somewhere in the golf bag.
The postponed Senior Captains Cup round from last week has now been rescheduled, which means we have four dates to circle as the season heads towards its business end.

So clear the diary, polish whatever part of the game is currently letting you down, and get ready for that late surge up the tables. There’s still time to turn an average campaign into something resembling a well-planned assault on the silverware.
