There’s something rather satisfying about defending a convincing home victory… but now it’s our turn to pack the clubs, head to Romsey and see if we can do it all over again.
If you’ve been thinking about playing, this is your gentle nudge. Don’t leave it until Matt starts peering nervously at the team sheet and wondering who’s suddenly remembered they’ve promised to paint the shed. The more names on the list, the better.
It is worth noting that post golf dress code is smart casual and it is preferred if players change from their playing clothes – showers are available.
