You wait for a spell of proper golfing weather, and then the friendlies come along one after another.
We’re certainly not complaining. Summer golf is in full flow, the fairways are firm, the clubhouse is full of post-round experts, and everyone’s convinced the putts would have dropped if the greens had been rolled five minutes earlier.
Next up, we welcome Highcliffe to Boundary Lakes for another day of friendly rivalry, great company and the sort of banter that starts on the practice green and doesn’t finish until everyone’s safely back in the clubhouse.
Here’s hoping for another superb day, plenty of memorable shots, and just enough luck to keep us all coming back for more. That’s what summer golf – and senior golf – is all about.
