The spirits are gathering, the battle lines have been drawn, and the Ghosts & Ghoulies encounter is ready for another frightfully good day at Boundary Lakes!
Bringing the Seniors and Ladies together for some friendly rivalry, this promises to be an entertaining morning of golf, questionable shots, occasional moments of brilliance and, quite possibly, a few partnerships wondering what they’ve let themselves in for.
We’re also looking forward to welcoming our friends from the muni to Boundary Lakes. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy some golf together, make a few new friends and show them what makes our club such a special place. So if you see a few unfamiliar faces, do say hello, make them feel at home and help them find their way around. We’re rightly proud of our course and the friendly atmosphere we enjoy, so let’s make sure they get to experience the best of it. And if they happen to play better golf than us, well, we’ll just have to make up for it with our hospitality!
With 24 players, two teams and six matches, there’s plenty at stake — not least the bragging rights in the clubhouse afterwards!
The Teams & Pairings
The competition will be played as Four-Ball Better Ball Match Play, with each pair working together to win holes against their opponents.
Only the best net score from each partnership counts on a hole, so there’s every opportunity for one player to rescue their partner from a golfing horror story.

The Important Bits
Meet: 8.30am
First tee time: 9.32am
Format: Four-Ball Better Ball Match Play
Entry: £5 cash per player
Afterwards: Cakes in the clubhouse on completion of the competition.
Please arrive in good time so everyone can get organised for a group photo, before heading out onto the course.
A Frightfully Good Day Ahead!
Whether you’re a Ghost or a Ghoulie, the aim is simple: enjoy the golf, support your partner and embrace a little friendly rivalry.
There will undoubtedly be some spectacular shots, a few terrifying ones and the occasional moment when even the ghosts would rather disappear. But whatever the result, there’s one thing everyone can look forward to — cakes in the clubhouse afterwards. And with that particular prize waiting at the finish, we suspect everyone will be keen to make it back in one piece!
Good luck to both teams. Let the haunting begin!
